In the summer of 2016, in an interview published by the magazine ETC MEDIA, web artist Émilie Gervais said she had created her own art school, which she called “Bed Art School”: “I figured I’d learn more … from my bed, […] I’m going through art school without really being in it. The Internet is my school. “(ETC MEDIA, Number 108, Summer 2016, p.44-47). Inspired by this statement, as well as by the site of the former École des Beaux-Arts in Montreal, Galerie Galerie presents Bed Art School, a group exhibition that explores the idea of the room as a place of learning and creation. , broadcast online at www.galeriegalerieweb.com and in an IRL @Festival Chromatic 2018 installation.
