Consider this digital wind chime as a humble techno-romantic gesture.

Physical wind chime is a decorative arrangement of small sculptured pieces with a resonance box suspended so as to chime when blown by the wind. In an html context, the wind chime system could be simplified as framed and organized elements that returns to initial state after impact.

"Confinement.lands" was created during the multiple confinements caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The project consists of a body of work, including a video piece and a website.

Looking at the deceleration the virus has forced into our lives, "Confinement.lands" proposes an urbanist look at the intimate spaces that have been reappropriated in 2020-2021. Here, the notions of frenetic time, extensive consumption and massive production are considered in order to underline the socio-economic inequalities that result from them. The work takes advantage of the sense of emptiness that now emanates from the once inhabited public places: our neighborhoods, streets, playgrounds, etc., in order to highlight the social structures damaged by the capitalist system.

"worldon.camera" presents live images from real surveillance cameras located around the world, from a bar in Austria, to a beach in Italy, to an arena based in Montreal. As part of the art surveillance movement, "worldon.camera" resonates in a similar way by questioning our right to privacy, but also underlines a certain carelessness towards the technologies that surround us, as if their omnipresence also and increasingly suggests a loss of control, even an inevitable detachment. While users are led to observe through "binoculars" different universes, exterior and interior, public and intimate, this selection of points of view undoubtedly leaves us with a strange feeling of voyeurism, like a dystopian impression of witnessing the end of the world behind a screen.

"Borks" is a pivotal work highlighting the transition from digital to plastic in the work of artits Mégane Voghell.
